Hi, I’m Nicole - graphic designer, illustrator, photographer and founder of Clio.
Clio is a visual communications studio. Visual communication is about using visuals effectively not just to decorate but to engage an audience in meaningful ways that text alone may not accomplish. It spans from traditional art forms through to modern digital media—constantly evolving with technological advancements yet always rooted in fundamental design principles that ensure viewers' clarity and comprehension.

Why Clio?Who am I? Where am I going? Why does it matter?
Ever since I was little I’ve always been super curious, my dad used to call me “nuuskierige agie” (a very curious person).
And I always thought being curious was a bad thing, "curiosity
killed the cat" until I read somewhere that the full quote reads “curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back”. The inspiration behind Clio is curiosity at its core. I chose the name Clio for two reasons, it was the name of my first childhood pet and Clio is one of the nine muses. She is the muse of history and protector of knowledge. It’s not a bad thing to want to know more, learn more and understand more.
